DYNAMITE PREVIEW – 10/7/20

It’s Wednesday and you know what that means. It’s time for another Dynamite preview with Professor J.R. and myself. Tonight we are celebrating 30 years of Chris Jericho! What a career he has had. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for tonight. Without further ado, let’s get straight to it.

Big Swole vs Serena Deeb

Kyle: I’m excited for this one. Been a big fan of Swole for awhile now and Serena really impressed me with her debut so I’m excited to see her more in the ring. This should be a really fun match that showcases how great these two are. I’m going with Big Swole for the win here.

Professor J.R: Power vs Experience, that is what you are going to get in the match. Serena has been in the wrestling industry for 15 years. She has been in the ring with some of the best women in the world. Swole has been on the come up in the last few years and has taken the national stage by storm. Quickly becoming a fan favorite for her “don’t take no guff from anyone” personality and using her strength to pick up W’s. I’m torn in this one but I experience is a big plus for me. Prediction: Serena Deeb.

FTR (c) vs TH2 – AEW World Tag Team Championship – A Brush With Greatness 20 minute time limit

Kyle: When it comes to the best, there are few, but when you talk about the greatest, there’s only T-H-2. You could say I’m a bit of a TH2 fan. I think they’re severely underrated in the stacked AEW tag division. I would love to see them hold the championship but tonight’s not that night. FTR are on roll and have came in and dominated the AEW tag team division since they debuted back in May so I don’t see them losing here.

Professor J.R: It’s time for a brush with greatness when the AEW Tag Team Champions, FTR look to retain against the high flying daredevils that are Hybrid2. If FTR expect to retain they need to ground their opponents and not let them take to the skies. If Hybrid2 wants to pull off the upset, they need to utilize their quickness. Prediction: And Still AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR.

Brian Cage (c) vs Will Hobbs – FTW Championship

Kyle: This will be a hoss fight and I’m here for it. Will Hobbs is so impressive and has been one of my favorite new signings in AEW so I’m very happy to see him get these opportunities. I think this will be a tough fight for Cage but he will still walk away as the FTW Champion tonight.

Program J.R: It’s time for a brush of greatness when the AEW Tag Team Champions, FTR, look to retain against the high flying daredevils that are Hybrid2. If FTR expect to retain they need to ground their opponents and not let them take to the skies. If Hybrid2 wants to pull off the upset, they need to utilize their quickness. Prediction: And Still AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR.

Mr. Brodie Lee (c) vs Cody – TNT Championship – Dog Collar Match

Kyle: This is my most anticipated match of the night. Can the new dark Cody overcome Mr. Brodie Lee and get back the TNT Championship? He certainly seems to be more aggressive when he returned so I’m looking forward to seeing how that will look in the ring. Will The Dark Order help out their leader? This is going to be a violent match that’s for certain. I got Mr. Brodie Lee beating Cody and retaining his TNT Championship here which will cause Cody to fully break.

Professor J.R: The rematch we have all been waiting for since Saturday Night Dynamite. On that infamous Saturday, Brodie Lee decimated Cody in 3 minutes to become the new TNT Champion. Cody returned two weeks ago with a new look and new attitude. This new Cody would accept the challenge to a Dog Collar Match by the Champ. A match where both men will have a dog collar attached to their necks and they will be connected by a heavy steel chain. The match has been known to be extremely brutal. The first of its kind was almost 37 years ago at Starrcade 1983 when the late Roddy Piper defeated Greg Valentine. In the match, Piper suffered severe damage to his ear.

This will not be for the weak at heart. I fully expect pure violence with evil intentions. If you are squeamish do not tune in for this one. Prediction: someone is going to the hospital.

Chris Jericho & Jake Hager vs Chaos Project

Kyle: Jericho & Hager are taking on Luther & “David Arquette”. Chaos Project has really picked up some momentum recently so it’s nice to see them on Dynamite and especially for the 30 year anniversary celebration of Chris Jericho. Jericho and Luther go way back so it’s going to interesting to see these two in the ring together. I don’t see Jericho & Hager losing tonight since they are trying to build up to get a title shot so I believe they will beat Luther & “David Arquette” here.

Professor J.R: This Dynamite is dedicated to the 30 year career of Chris Jericho. During the beginning of his journey, Jericho developed a close relationship with Luther. What better way to celebrate then go back to the beginning? While Chaos Project will rely on their namesake of chaos, I fully expect a showcase of Jericho and the all the skills he has learned during the 3 decades of being one of the best in the world. Prediction: Jericho and Hager for the win.

And there you have it. Our thoughts and predictions for tonight’s Dynamite. It looks like a fun night ahead of us as we celebrate 30 years of Chris Jericho!
