AEW Dynamite charged into Seattle, Washington, leaving a trail of chaos and setting a fiery stage for the monumental AEW All In: Texas event, now just 17 days away. The evening was defined by blistering confrontations, shocking power plays, and critical wins that shifted the landscape ahead of the July 12th pay-per-view.
The night saw “Hangman” Adam Page survive a brutal main event only to be ambushed by The Young Bucks and the Death Riders, while both Mark Briscoe and Kris Statlander fought tooth and nail to secure the valuable number one entry spots in their respective Casino Gauntlet matches at All In. From backstage brawls to legendary staredowns, here is everything that went down on a momentous episode of Dynamite.
Let the Games Begin: Moné Ambushes Storm
The broadcast opened with immediate fireworks. As “Timeless” Toni Storm made her grand entrance into the arena, she was blindsided by her All In challenger, Mercedes Moné, igniting a wild backstage brawl. This was a direct and violent response to Storm’s recent interruptions and her bold declaration on Collision that Moné would have to “kill her” to win the AEW Women’s World Championship.

“Toni, you wanna play games? Huh? Is this what you wanted? You wanna embarrass me?” Moné screamed as she dragged Storm out into the arena. “Let’s play.” The assault continued until Storm’s friend, Mina Shirakawa, rushed out to intervene, but the message was sent. Moné stood tall, declaring, “Let the games begin,” adding another layer of intensity to their deeply personal rivalry.

The EVPs Flex Their Power, But Get A Hefty Challenge
In a display of their executive power, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson appeared on screen to announce they had moved up Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland’s tag team match to happen “right now.” Ospreay and Swerve, caught completely off guard, rushed to the ring, with Ospreay still taping his wrists.
Despite the disadvantage, the duo showed remarkable chemistry against the capable team of Lee Johnson and Blake Christian. Ospreay, nursing a black eye from a previous encounter, and Swerve worked together seamlessly. After Christian hit a spectacular 450 Splash on Ospreay, Swerve exploded into the match, ultimately securing the win with a decisive Swerve Stomp.
Post-match, an irate Swerve Strickland confronted the EVPs at ringside, tired of their constant interference in his career. Ospreay escalated things further, issuing a groundbreaking challenge: “Put the EVP titles on the line.” Later, the Young Bucks responded not by accepting, but by suspending Swerve for a week without pay for putting his hands on an official, a move that would have major repercussions by the end of the night.

A Golden Return and a Legendary Staredown
In his highly anticipated singles return, “The Golden Star” Kota Ibushi took on Trent Berretta of the Don Callis Family. Berretta was intent on sending a message to Ibushi’s friend Kenny Omega, but Ibushi’s world-renowned athleticism was too much to overcome. After a hard-hitting affair that saw Berretta target Ibushi’s neck, Ibushi rallied, unleashing a series of thunderous knee strikes before ending the match with a devastating Kamigoye for the victory.

The celebration was cut short by the arrival of AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada. The “Rainmaker” entered the ring, coming face to face with Ibushi, renewing a legendary rivalry forged in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Their last singles match in 2021 ended prematurely due to an injury to Ibushi, adding immense weight to their staredown. It was later announced by Tony Khan that the two icons will face each other on the 300th episode of Dynamite next week.
The World Champion Sends a Chilling Message
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley delivered a cold, focused promo aimed directly at his All In challenger, “Hangman” Adam Page. Moxley dissected what he sees as Page’s greatest weakness: his fear of greatness. This rivalry has a violent history, including a match that ended when Page suffered a legitimate concussion.
“The cowboy is afraid,” Moxley stated. “Not afraid of me. It’s not a fear of failure. Hangman Page is afraid to become what the world needs him to be.” Moxley promised a brutal reality check for Page on July 12th, vowing to choke him into oblivion while Page is lost in his “emotional turmoil.” He concluded with a stark warning: “On July 12th, I show the world what the world champion looks like. You, you gotta start looking for another job.”

High-Stakes and Big Wins on the Road to All In
The night also featured two crucial four-way matches to determine the number one entrants in the Casino Gauntlet matches at All In. In the men’s match, Mark Briscoe outlasted ROH World Champion Bandido, Roderick Strong, and Konosuke Takeshita, pinning Strong after a Froggy Bow to gain the advantage.
In the women’s contest, Kris Statlander punched her ticket by defeating ROH Women’s World Champion Athena, Willow Nightingale, and Thunder Rosa. The finish came after interference from the Death Riders’ Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta allowed Statlander to hit a piledriver on Nightingale for the win.

The Hurt Syndicate also made their presence felt, viciously attacking JetSpeed (Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight) after the duo challenged them for the AEW Tag Team Championships at All In. This brought out Mark Briscoe who, with his unique brand of humor, got into a memorable war of words with MJF.

Chaos Reigns to End the Night
In the main event, Hangman Adam Page overcame The Beast Mortos with a Buckshot Lariat. But as he celebrated, the lights went out. When they returned, The Young Bucks were in the ring, hitting Page with an EVP Trigger. This was followed by the appearance of Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, who began a vicious assault.
Moxley wrapped a chain around Page’s neck, but before further damage could be done, Samoa Joe and The Opps hit the ring to make the save. In a significant moment, Will Ospreay also rushed to the ring, getting directly in Moxley’s face, forcing the villains to retreat. The show went off the air with Page unconscious in the ring, his status for All In now in serious jeopardy.
